All routes
From Cantabria (North): The most spectacular route. Take the A-8 highway to Unquera and turn off onto the N-621. You will travel through the impressive Hermida Gorge for about 40 minutes until you reach Potes.
From La Meseta (South/León): Access via the N-625 towards Riaño and connect with the N-621 crossing the San Glorio Pass. The views from the Corzo viewpoint are unforgettable.
The company Autobuses Palomera connects Potes with Santander and other towns in the region with several daily frequencies. The station is located in the center of the town.
From Seve Ballesteros Airport (Santander): Located 105 km away. You can rent a car (1h 30min via A-8 and N-621) or take a bus to the Santander station and transfer to Potes.
From Asturias Airport (Oviedo/Ranón): 175 km away. The route by car (2h 15min) follows the A-8 east to Unquera, then connecting with the N-621 towards Liébana.
During the Orujo Festival, parking in the center is restricted. Park-and-ride areas are set up and clearly marked at the entrances to the town.
