Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana

It is one of the main Christian pilgrimage centers in Spain. It houses the Lignum Crucis, considered the largest preserved fragment of the cross of Christ.

It has the category of Jubilee Holy Place, next to Rome, Jerusalem, Santiago de Compostela and Caravaca de la Cruz.

The current complex is mostly in the Gothic style (13th-14th centuries), although the place has a long previous monastic tradition.
